I am a current student at the Royal College of Music studying a BMus in Orchestral Percussion and a young musician with an extreme passion for giving back something to the music industry that has helped nurture me and teach me many valuable life skills, as well as musical skills.
Educated at Wells Cathedral School, Somerset, I was always constantly hearing music. This was the perfect surrounding to nurture my passion for music, and for me to grow into the player I am today. I gained my GCSE's and A levels whilst at Wells before moving on to the Royal College of Music where I am studying a BMus in Orchestral Percussion.
Although my main focus is percussion, I also play the piano, sing and can teach music theory. I gained my ATCL Performance Diploma with Distinction in Percussion, as well as Grade 8 ABRSM Piano and Vocal Studies both with Distinction.
My main passion is orchestral playing. I enjoy playing in a section and enjoy a wide variety of orchestral music. I freelance regularly with orchestras in London and Somerset and have played with the Royal College of Music Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras under conductors like Vladamir Ashkenazy and Martin Andre to name but a few.
